As a Master Scheduler, you are developing and managing production schedules that align supply chain capability, labor capacity, and material availability with customer demand. You are translating sales forecasts and firm customer orders into achievable mid- and long-term production plans while balancing manufacturing constraints across Standard, Special, and Nuclear value streams. You are collaborating with Sales, Operations, Sourcing, and Supply Chain teams to optimize production flow, prevent bottlenecks, and improve schedule adherence. You are driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance manufacturing efficiency, reduce cycle times, and support operational excellence.

As a Master Scheduler, you are being responsible for:

  • Creating detailed rolling production schedules aligned with business objectives and customer requirements.

  • Collaborating with Sales and Operations teams to integrate forecasts into achievable production plans.

  • Monitoring material availability, labor capacity, and overall manufacturing constraints through Rough-Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP).

  • Adjusting production schedules in response to material shortages, labor constraints, equipment issues, and changing customer priorities.

  • Managing schedule adherence and monitoring overall production performance.

  • Participating in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) activities.

  • Driving Lean initiatives to reduce manufacturing cycle times, eliminate waste, and improve operational efficiency.

  • Partnering with Strategic Sourcing teams to communicate long-term material requirements and supply needs.

  • Supporting capacity planning efforts to ensure resources are effectively aligned with demand.

  • Utilizing ERP/MRP systems to manage production planning, inventory visibility, and order execution.

  • Monitoring key planning metrics and driving continuous improvement opportunities.

To be successful in this role you are:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.

  • Have a minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in Materials Planning, Master Scheduling, or Production Planning.

  • Have strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.

  • Have demonstrated experience working cross-functionally with diverse teams.

  • Have strong analytical skills with attention to detail and data-driven decision-making capabilities.

  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Have the ability to influence stakeholders and lead initiatives or projects.

  • Have experience driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have APICS / ASCM Certification (CPIM or CSCP).


Technical Requirements

  • Have proficiency with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar manufacturing planning tools.

  • Have strong data analytics and business intelligence capabilities.

  • Have advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

  • Have practical experience performing Rough-Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP).

  • Have strong system discipline and attention to detail.

  • Have experience supporting production planning, inventory control, and order management processes.
