Job Summary

The Video and Digital Multimedia Production Manager is responsible for the creation and production of multimedia content, including video, podcast, social media, and digital content. Reporting to the Director of Brand & Content, you will play a pivotal role in bringing our STS enterprise content strategy to life. From producing engaging podcast episodes and short-form video series (Reels/Shorts) to partnering with STS leaders to share organizational updates with members, to capturing events, to orchestrating social syndication and elevating our web presence, your work will directly drive member trust, increase member engagement and storytelling, advance global thought leadership, and amplify our brand reputation.

Duties and Responsibilities

Video and Digital Multimedia Production

  • Brand journalism: Lead the end-to-end, hands-on production of videos, podcasts, digital, and social media content, including scheduling, copywriting, script writing, directing, capturing, and editing short- and long-form video, podcast episodes, as well as creating engaging digital and social media content and graphics.


  • Collaborate with members: Partner effectively with subject matter experts, members, committees, and senior executives to build internal coalition and consensus.


  • Translate the complex: Turn clinical, technical, and healthcare narratives into clear, emotionally connective, and engaging videos, podcasts, and multiplatform content.


  • Drive the experience: Align and implement our enterprise content calendar, ensuring deliverables are creatively distinct, on time, and on budget.


Website Content, Data and Analytics

  • Curate a high-performing website: Author and maintain dynamic content for the STS website, aligning daily updates with enterprise content calendar.


  • Lead SEO expertise: Implement effective SEO best practices to optimize brand sentiment, content findability, and site performance.


  • Drive data-driven decisions: Track, evaluate, and deliver quarterly KPI reviews to the Marketing & Communications team to inform and refine future strategies.


  • Build the library of the future: Help build and tag our next-generation digital asset management system (a key 2027 initiative).


Social Media Syndication & Community Building

  • Manage the channels: Oversee our daily presence across LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram using our social media management suite.


  • Test, learn and optimize: Lead content syndication by testing, measuring, and refining distribution strategies to maximize audience growth and engagement.


  • Drive the conversation: Moderate online interactions to foster member engagement, real-time risk mitigation, and overall brand reputation management.


Experience and Skills
Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Digital Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).


  • 3-5+ years of professional success in content creation, social media management, multimedia production, or visual journalism.


  • An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience is also considered.


Required Skills and Abilities

  • Communication skills: Exceptional writing, editing, and interviewing skills, with proven acumen in healthcare and/or clinical communications.


  • Project management: Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, prioritize workflows, and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines, while building coalition and consensus across a heavily matrixed, horizontal work team.


  • Agency management: Experience managing external agencies, vendors, and partners through short-term development cycles.


  • Strong hands-on proficiency with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop).


  • Proficiency with capturing, editing, and packaging professional video, audio, and creative assets (including podcast production).


  • Experience working with social media management software (i.e., Meltwater, Hootsuite, Sprinklr,) website content management systems, and digital performance dashboards (Google Analytics, SEMRush).


  • Working knowledge of enterprise content strategy, SEO best practices, and key content performance indicators.


  • Executive presence and confidence to advise, influence, and collaborate with senior leaders on strategic content decisions.

Job Benefits
The salary range for this exempt role is $85,000 - $105,000 annually. Actual compensation will be dependent on a candidate's relevant experience, skills, training, certifications/licenses and qualifications.
