Job Title: IT Project ManagerClearance Required: Public Trust - Federal Client requires US CitizenshipWork Location: Hybrid, Washington, DCAlpha Omega is seeking a qualified IT Project Manager. In this role you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of enterprise solutions; i.e. project management, scheduling, and risk mitigation required to deliver successful outcomes within a federal operational environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive end-to-end program execution by maintaining project plans, risk and issue tracking, mitigation strategies, dependency visibility, executive updates, progress reporting, and change management communications.
- Architect the Hypercare model for post-go-live support, defining issue intake, triage workflows, escalation paths, ownership, communications cadence, reporting mechanisms, and operational readiness processes to stabilize the system.
- Serve as a process engineer by designing and optimizing transition workflows, Hypercare operating procedures, issue management processes, handoff models, reporting routines, and continuous improvement practices across business, vendor, and technology teams.
- Escalate risks, issues, and timeline impacts while working proactively with distributed teams to remove barriers, protect delivery commitments, and reduce disruption during transition activities.
Required Qualifications:Experience/Skills:- Ten (10) years of experience in large-scale IT project management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-year IT programs; expertise in resource allocation, procurement, and performance tracking.
- Strong understanding of federal IT acquisition processes, project management frameworks (e.g., PMBOK, Agile), and cybersecurity compliance requirements.
- Strong rigor in tracking progress, managing budgets, and ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery.
Required Education:- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
Salary and Benefit Information:The likely salary range for this position is $133,000 - $190,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position and could fall outside of this range.
