Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead and maintain HSE programs in alignment with NOV standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and execute the facility's annual HSE strategy and improvement initiatives.
  • Serve as the facility expert on applicable HSE laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Coordinate audits, inspections, training, and risk assessments to promote a safe work environment.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for HSE inspections, internal reviews, and emergency preparedness

Job Duties
  • Track and report on HSE performance metrics and progress toward goals.
  • Conduct or coordinate process audits and support deployment of improvement plans.
  • Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage regulatory reporting, permit compliance, and HSE recordkeeping.
  • Provide and/or coordinate training on topics such as Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, and Crane Operation.
  • Stay current on HSE laws and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Work closely with HR, Workers' Compensation, and Corporate Environmental teams as needed.
  • Participate in or lead emergency drills and ensure procedures are up to date.
  • Allocate 50%+ of time on the facility floor in an industrial environment; occasional travel (5-10%) required.

Education and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field; master's degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 6 years of HSE experience is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisor or manager role is preferred.
  • Professional HSE certifications (CSP, CIH, CHMM) strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 14001 & 45001 standards.
  • Industrial or chemical manufacturing experience required.
  • Supervisory experience is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HSE management systems.
  • Strong communication, planning, and team collaboration skills.

Pay Range
  • $95,000- $115,000 annually
