Full Job Description
As our Human Resources Manager, you will report to the Sr. Director of Human Resources for the Meat and Prepared Foods Division within the US.

Your scope will be employees that make up the operations and leadership team located in Kingston, NY.

This role is onsite.

On a given day, you may:
1. Strategic Business Partnership
  • Act as a trusted advisor to manufacturing leadership, aligning HR strategy with business goals, particularly around growth, customer delivery, and operational performance.
  • Drive organizational design, workforce planning, and capability building to support a scalable and high-performing manufacturing organization.
  • Provide data-driven insights on talent, engagement, and performance to inform leadership decisions.
2. Talent & Capability Development
  • Lead succession planning and talent development initiatives, ensuring a strong pipeline of future leaders within the Operations function.
  • Partner with leaders to identify, develop, and retain critical talent, with a focus on manufacturing leadership and technical roles.
  • Support implementation of Leadership Academy and development programs to strengthen leadership effectiveness.
3. Performance & Culture
  • Drive a high-performance culture, ensuring clarity of expectations, accountability, and alignment with company values.
  • Lead performance management processes, including coaching leaders on feedback, differentiation, and development planning.
  • Champion employee engagement initiatives, translating survey insights into actionable plans with measurable outcomes.
4. Employee Relations & Risk Management
  • Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations matters, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant outcomes.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate organizational risks, including attrition, engagement gaps, and leadership challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
5. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Stability
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to build and execute hiring strategies for critical engineering and operations roles.
  • Ensure efficient onboarding and integration of new hires into a agile, customer-centric environment.
6. Operational Excellence & HR Delivery
  • Oversee execution of core HR processes including compensation, benefits, HRIS, and payroll-related activities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Drive continuous improvement of HR processes to enhance employee experience and operational effectiveness.
  • Support audits, reporting, and governance requirements as needed.
7. Change Leadership
  • Lead and support organizational change initiatives, including post-integration efforts, structural changes, and business transformations.
  • Ensure clear communication and leader alignment during periods of change, maintaining engagement and stability.


Requirements for the role
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 7-10 years of HR generalist or HR Business Partner experience.
  • SPHR or PHR Certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of State employment law and HR best practices.
  • Experience in manufacturing, operations, logistics, and engineering teams support is required.
  • You must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
