Overview:

Contributes to the overall success of the Prime Services business in the US and globally through: origination of new relationships, growing market share with existing clients and ongoing relationship management. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

What You'll Do:

Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
  • Identify, prospect, and onboard hedge funds and institutional clients to expand the Prime Brokerage platform.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring delivery of best-in-class service and solutions.


Sales & Revenue Generation
  • Responsible for client balances and revenue targets, in addition to client adherence to financial resources constraints such as balance sheet/leverage and RWA targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Capital Introductions, FRM, Trading, Risk, Operations) to structure competitive and profitable solutions.
  • Track allocation of scarce resources to clients and work to monetize those resources


Strategic Advisory
  • Advise clients on financing strategies, balance sheet optimization, and leverage solutions.
  • Provide insights on market trends, regulatory developments, and competitive landscape.


Cross-Selling & Platform Connectivity
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell across the firm's product suite, especially Equities
  • Partner with In-Business Risk, Credit Risk, Legal, Internal Controls and Compliance to ensure that business growth is balanced with the utmost regard to Counterparty Credit Risk and Compliance.
  • Work closely with the Financial Resource Management team to navigate changing market dynamics, responding to increased industry competition, and meeting client return metrics in the face of growing regulatory pressures.
  • Ensure business strategies, plans and initiatives are executed in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures. Direct day-to-day activities in a manner consistent with the Bank's risk culture and the relevant risk appetite statement and limits.


What You'll Bring
  • Undergraduate degree (postgraduate an asset)
  • Registered with FINRA and/or any other relevant Regulatory Agencies
  • 12+ years of experience in securities financing related roles with an in-depth knowledge of financing products and client coverage & origination strategies
  • Results driven, with a proven track record of originating and growing client relationships
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and project management skills and demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Superior communication skills with comfortable interacting with senior executives across the organization
