* Own and manage vendor relationships across the derivatives post-trade ecosystem (e.g., confirmation, matching, settlement, and messaging platforms).
* Apply modern engineering and delivery practices including Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, cloud-adjacent architectures, and automation frameworks.
* Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture standards, information security policies, and data governance requirements.
* Act as the primary technology interface between derivatives Operations, Product Control, Risk, and other Capital Markets Technology teams.
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen incident management, root-cause analysis, and knowledge transfer for production issues.
* Communicate technology strategy, risk posture, and delivery status effectively to senior technology and business leadership.

* Creates an environment in which their team pursues effective and efficient operations of their respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.
