As a Data Implementation Engineer reporting to the Manager, Technical Implementations, you will play a critical role in configuring and implementing our AI-driven platform to enable our customer's success. You will partner closely with the Business Acceleration and Engineering teams throughout the entirety of the customer lifecycle and be responsible for managing all data-related activities. The ideal candidate will have strong technical fluency - especially in data analysis, querying, and ETL. WHAT YOU WILL DO - Work directly with customers to discover, assess, and integrate their data assets into our platform - Collaborate with customers, our support team, and other internal teams to define technical requirements and triage reported issues for each implementation - Configure and deploy platform solutions tailored to each customer, connecting seamlessly with their existing systems - Build and maintain automated ETL workflows, using tools like Snowflake and AWS Glue, to enable repeatable, high-quality data ingestion - Troubleshoot issues across the data pipeline - from ingestion and transformation through orchestration and system configuration - leading resolution efforts - Own the weekly data delivery cycle for assigned customers, proactively resolving issues to keep deliveries on time and error-free - Identify recurring manual work in the implementation and delivery process - including manual trigger steps - and automate it to improve scalability - Uphold data security and privacy protocols in line with industry standards WHAT YOU BRING - 3+ years of experience with data migration, ETL, and pipeline tools - 3+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake and AWS (e.g., Glue, S3), or equivalent cloud data infrastructure - Strong proficiency in Python and SQL - Experience with APIs and integration frameworks - Familiarity with orchestration tools (e.g., Dagster, Airflow) and config-driven/declarative pipeline systems (e.g., dbt) is a strong asset - Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset, comfortable owning ambiguous technical problems directly with customers - Excellent communication skills, able to translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders - Experience in the life sciences/pharma industry, including familiarity with tools like Veeva Vault or Salesforce, is a strong asset WHAT WE OFFER Values-Based Culture - We Ignite Innovation, Own It, and Stand Together AI-Native Environment - At ODAIA, we don't just deliver AI - we live it. The anticipated base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 - 110,000 CAD This range represents ODAIA's good-faith estimate based on current market data and internal equity. Final compensation is determined through a comprehensive review of the successful candidate's unique skill set, specialized experience, certifications and other relevant considerations. As such, the final offer may vary based on these specific factors. Salary expectations will be discussed collaboratively early in the process to ensure alignment.
