Role Overview
Hitachi Digital Services is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to support the deployment, administration, and optimization of enterprise security technologies across endpoint, network, cloud, identity, and security operations environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise security tools and platforms.
- Support vulnerability management, security assessments, and remediation activities.
- Configure security policies, dashboards, alerts, and reporting.
- Support cloud, endpoint, network, and identity security technologies.
- Assist with security tool integrations, automation, and platform upgrades.
- Develop operational procedures and technical documentation.
Required Skills
- 2+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Security Engineering, Vulnerability Management, or Security Operations.
- Hands-on experience with one or more of the following technologies:
Security Technologies
- Endpoint Security / EDR/XDR: Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Cortex XDR
- Vulnerability Management: Tenable, Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7
- SIEM / SOAR: Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar, XSOAR
- Network Security: Firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF, Secure Web Gateway (SWG)
- Identity Security: Entra ID (Azure AD), Okta, MFA, PAM, RBAC
- Cloud Security: Azure, AWS, GCP
- Automation: PowerShell, Python, APIs
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with security tool implementation and integration.
- Familiarity with cloud-native and hybrid environments.
- Exposure to AI-enabled security tools such as Microsoft Security Copilot.
- Understanding of Zero Trust security principles.
