Job Summary:

We seek a highly motivated, energetic, and professional Business Development Representative to join our expanding team. This role requires a candidate with excellent communication skills and a knack for building relationships. You will be responsible for sourcing, qualifying, and nurturing leads to expand our portfolio of software businesses in the Healthcare, MarTech, and Hospitality space. This position offers a challenging yet rewarding career trajectory within a Portfolio of Volaris Group.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Proactively identify potential acquisition targets. Initiate and maintain communication through emails, phone calls, LinkedIn, trade shows, and in-person meetings.

  • Lead Management: Respond to inbound queries by articulating Volaris' value proposition and acquisition criteria. Develop personalized messages to engage decision-makers and coordinate strategic meetings.

  • M&A Pipeline Coordination: Support the M&A process from lead generation to nurturing to transaction initiation. Set up qualified appointments and facilitate the progression of deals through the pipeline. Obtain high-level financial and operational information about target companies for purposes of analysis and modeling.

  • Market Research: Conduct research to map out attractive markets and identify potential software companies for acquisition.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Demonstrate creativity and credibility in interactions with business owners, operators, and C-suite executives.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field with excellent academic standing.

  • Experience: 1-2 years business development, lead generation, or a similar role, preferably within a B2B, software, or technology environment.

  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to present to high-level executives.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM software like Salesforce is highly desirable.

  • Language Skills: Multilingual capabilities are a plus, as we expand on a global scale.

  • Personal Attributes: Professional demeanor, persistent work ethic, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid setting.

SALARY AND ADDITIONAL PAY

Base salary range: $80,000 - $100,000 annually

Commission: This position is commission eligible

Other compensation: This position is eligible to participate in the discretionary company bonus plan.

Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons

*Business Development Representative will be required to travel to the main office in Mississauga, ON at least once per week.
