Workday Security Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will support the design, configuration, testing, governance, and maintenance of Workday security solutions that protect sensitive workforce data while enabling business operations.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience configuring and supporting Workday security across security groups, domains, business processes, reports, integrations, and tenant access controls. You will collaborate closely with functional, integration, reporting, audit, and identity management teams to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant Workday solutions throughout implementation, optimization, and production support engagements.
Application Consultants understand the client business process, current and future, and map it to the technologies being used, giving a demarcation of what can be achieved through a standard implementation and what would need customizations or extensions to be done to the application. They may functionally customize the application, partner with application developers to design application enhancements and extensions, and work with business users to implement process changes. Focus must be provided on building solutions and on maintaining, optimizing and improving a clients applications and systems. Develop your knowledge in a business andoror industry domain and a Saas or Package Based solution. One can contribute to a business and technical blueprint and customize the respective Software Package Module. Application Consultant is responsible for unit testing, contribute to integration testing, andoror be responsible for the design and delivery of end user training. Your Role - Analyze business, security, privacy, and compliance requirements and translate them into Workday security configurations.
- Configure and maintain Workday security groups, domain security policies, business process security policies, role assignments, and related security settings.
- Support security design activities, including role modeling, persona development, and least-privilege access frameworks.
- Troubleshoot system access issues related to security groups, domains, business processes, organizations, reports, and integrations.
- Support security for reports, dashboards, calculated fields, EIBs, integrations, RaaS, APIs, and web services.
- Perform security impact assessments for configuration changes, releases, enhancements, and integrations.
- Create and execute security test scenarios including unit testing, system integration testing, regression testing, and UAT support.
- Support audit, compliance, governance, and privileged-access review activities.
- Identify segregation-of-duties conflicts, excessive access, and security risks while providing remediation recommendations.
- Participate in tenant migrations, deployment activities, Workday releases, and post-production validation efforts.
- Develop and maintain security documentation, design workbooks, test scripts, support procedures, and knowledge-transfer materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional Workday teams to ensure secure and sustainable solutions are delivered according to client and Capgemini standards.
Your Skills and Experience - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on Workday Security experience supporting implementations, optimizations, or production support engagements.
- Strong knowledge of Workday Security architecture, including User-Based and Role-Based Security Groups, constrained and unconstrained security models, domain security policies, business process security policies, role assignments, and security activation.
- Experience designing, configuring, testing, and supporting Workday security solutions across HCM modules while balancing business requirements, user experience, compliance, privacy, and segregation-of-duties controls.
- Experience performing security impact analysis, deployment validation, regression testing, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Strong understanding of Workday integration security, including Integration System Users (ISUs), Integration System Security Groups (ISSGs), API and web-service security, OAuth 2.0 authentication, and credential governance.
- Experience supporting security audits, access reviews, compliance initiatives, remediation efforts, and security governance activities.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot access-related issues involving security groups, domains, business processes, role assignments, reports, and integrations.
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex security concepts to both technical and business audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to manage confidential employee and organizational information with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
Preferred Skills - Active Workday Security, Workday HCM Core, or related Workday Partner Certification.
- Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM), Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and user provisioning processes.
- Experience supporting security for Workday Reporting, Prism Analytics, Calculated Fields, Integrations, and related data access controls.
- Knowledge of Workday release management, security regression testing, and deployment support.
- Familiarity with security governance, risk management, audit, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience supporting global Workday deployments, shared services organizations, and client-facing consulting engagements.
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $68,911- $195,199

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
