Workday ManagerWe are seeking an experienced
Workday Manager to provide leadership, governance, and strategic oversight of an enterprise Workday environment across
HCM and Financial Management.
This individual will lead a Workday support team and be responsible for platform administration, optimization, security, data integrity, integrations, and overall system performance.
The role partners cross-functionally with business and technology teams to manage enhancements, testing, troubleshooting, system improvements, and the ongoing Workday roadmap.
Key ResponsibilitiesWorkday Platform Management
- Provide overall ownership and governance of the Workday platform.
- Oversee administration and optimization of Workday HCM and Financials.
- Support HCM functionality including Core HCM, Talent, Compensation, Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence, and Recruiting.
- Support Financials functionality including General Ledger, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Expenses, Procurement, Projects, and Financial Reporting.
- Serve as a Workday architecture and platform subject matter expert.
- Lead Workday release cycles, including impact analysis, testing, and deployment.
- Manage security roles, access controls, and segregation of duties.
- Maintain system and process documentation.
- Coordinate with external Workday partners and vendors.
Team Leadership
- Lead and develop the Workday support team.
- Assign and prioritize workload.
- Monitor team performance and delivery.
- Oversee system monitoring and issue resolution.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and escalation support.
- Mentor and develop team members.
Configuration & Optimization
- Configure and optimize Workday HCM and Financials functionality.
- Maintain organizational structures, cost centers, job profiles, and related configurations.
- Translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions.
- Develop and maintain the Workday roadmap.
- Lead testing, change management, and user adoption efforts.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and platform functionality.
Integrations, Reporting & Data
- Maintain integrations between Workday and third-party systems.
- Manage EIBs and other Workday interfaces.
- Monitor and troubleshoot integration issues.
- Perform system audits and data validation.
- Support Workday reporting, dashboards, and analytics.
- Maintain data quality and system integrity.
Project & Stakeholder Leadership
- Serve as a Workday subject matter expert across the organization.
- Lead workshops, design sessions, and stakeholder discussions.
- Manage Workday implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and related initiatives.
- Define project scope, timelines, resources, risks, and deliverables.
- Communicate project status and risks to stakeholders.
- Partner with internal teams and external vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 6+ years of progressive Workday experience, including platform administration and governance.
- 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
- Advanced expertise with Workday Financials.
- Strong knowledge of Workday HCM and Financials architecture.
- Experience with enterprise Workday implementations and enhancements.
- Strong understanding of Workday configuration, security, governance, integrations, and data.
- Experience with reporting, dashboards, and analytics.
- Experience managing EIBs and other Workday integrations.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
Certifications- Workday Financials Core Certification
- Additional Workday certifications are highly valued, particularly within areas such as Procurement, Expenses, or related Financials modules.

deep Workday Financials expertise with strong leadership capabilities. This person should be comfortable owning the platform strategically while remaining close enough to the technology to guide configuration, integrations, troubleshooting, governance, and continuous improvement.
They should be able to operate effectively between
business and technology teams, translating business needs into scalable Workday solutions while providing structure and direction to the Workday function.
