📈 Define the Future of Commerce at Pax8

• Establish and execute the long-term product vision for Foundation, Pax8's core commerce platform.
• Create a strategic roadmap that balances operational excellence, compliance, financial controls, scalability, and growth.
• Guide investment decisions across marketplace capabilities, billing, subscriptions, ordering, provisioning, analytics, integrations, and partner experiences.

💡 Drive Growth Through Product Innovation

• Create frictionless experiences that improve partner acquisition, engagement, retention, and expansion.
• Shape product experiences that help partners discover, purchase, manage, and maximize technology investments.
• Identify new opportunities to increase platform adoption through analytics, recommendations, APIs, ecosystem integrations, and intelligent automation.

🤝 Lead Through Partnership

• Act as the strategic product counterpart to the VP of Engineering, jointly driving outcomes across the Foundation platform.
• Partner closely with Architecture, Finance, Operations, Commercial Leadership, Design, and User Research to align priorities and deliver results.
• Establish clear ownership boundaries across a complex product ecosystem to ensure teams move quickly and effectively.

• Develop a point of view on how AI and agent-assisted experiences will transform partner commerce.
• Guide teams through new ways of working that leverage AI to accelerate discovery, validation, delivery, and decision making.

• What Success Looks Like

We're searching for someone who combines strategic vision with an ability to execute in highly complex environments.

You bring:

• Demonstrated success leading large-scale product organizations with executive-level scope.
• Proven experience owning complex marketplace, commerce, platform, SaaS, or partner ecosystem products.
• Deep understanding of commerce journeys including purchasing, subscriptions, provisioning, billing, invoicing, and partner operations.
• Strong experience balancing growth initiatives alongside governance, compliance, operational control, and scalability requirements.
• Ability to influence across executive stakeholders, engineering leaders, operational teams, and commercial functions.
• Strong understanding of platform architecture concepts and product decision-making within complex technical environments.
• Experience leveraging AI and emerging technologies to improve product strategy, delivery, prioritization, and organizational effectiveness.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to move seamlessly between executive strategy, technical discussions, and customer-focused outcomes.
• A customer-first mindset grounded in real-world experience serving businesses, partners, marketplaces, or technology ecosystems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead through ambiguity while maintaining strategic clarity and organizational alignment.

Base Salary Comp Range: $250k - $300k
