Job Overview
This role supports effective communication by producing clear, audience-focused technical content for various deliverables. It involves creating and maintaining technical documents such as release notes, online help, job aids, and user guides. The role requires applying structured authoring techniques and managing content within a content management system. Success is measured by the accuracy, clarity, and usability of technical documentation that meets organizational standards. The work enhances understanding and usability of technical products and processes for internal and external stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage the content management system to ensure documents are current and comply with established standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop clear and concise product content that supports user needs
  • Translate complex technical concepts into coherent and accessible documentation for diverse audiences
  • Coordinate with infrastructure teams to document processes, procedures, policies, and standards across platforms
  • Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed

Education and Work Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree plus 2 years of related work experience OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)
  • 2-4 years Experience as a Technical Writer. (Preferred)
  • 2-4 years Experience writing technical documents for IT professionals. (Preferred)
  • 2-4 years Experience in managing a document repository. (Preferred)
  • 2-4 years Experience planning, organizing, and migrating a diverse set of documents from Word and SharePoint Wikis into new content management system. (Preferred)
  • 4-7 years Experience as a Technical Writer. (Preferred)
  • 4-7 years Experience writing technical documents for IT professionals. (Preferred)

Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity: $64,570 - $116,380

National Base Pay Range: $58,700 - $105,800

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on individual and/or company performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance. The incentive component included in the Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity reflects target performance.
