DescriptionPLEX Solutions, A Part of Markon, is looking for an Entry Level Technical Writer to join a fast-paced program in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. This is a customer facing role and requires a polished and professional candidate.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the preparation, review, revision, and maintenance of technical documents including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation.
- Writes and edits technical documentation for all of the project’s hardware and software to include installation, configuration and how-to documentation.
- Creates code documentation for software; produces implementation guides and end-user guides for capabilities; provides field, data definition, and data flow documentation and formats technical publications from pamphlets, technical drawings, and consultations with technical personnel and other available resources.
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI W/ Polygraph
Two (2) years experience as a Technical Writer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
Associate’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. (OR) Two (2) years of additional TW experience may be substituted for an Associate’s degree.
Tasks include working with the customers senior leadership to prepare and review documents with graphics for internal and external distribution.
Salary RangeUSD $80,000.00 - USD $95,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
