Full Job Description
Technical Service Owner
• Own end-to-end engineering design and implementation for the service
• Lead and manage the delivery team, including day-to-day coordination and execution prioritize
• Partner closely with Product, Architecture, and Engineering stakeholders
• Point of contact to coordinate Affinity tech teams with CW engineering prioritize
• Drive Scrum ceremonies and ensure strong delivery discipline Important

Core API Skills
• AS400 / API Skills Required (good to have) prioritize
• .Net Core, REST API design endpoints, versioning, status codes - Important
• OAuth 2.0 / JWT authentication and API key management / RBAC
• OpenAPI / Swagger contract documentation
• JSON and XML payload handling and schema mapping prioritize
• Salesforce REST API and platform event integration Not a priority

Architecture & Messaging
• Service-oriented / microservices communication (good to have)
• IBM MQ message bridging between AS400 and modern services not used
• AS400 REST exposure via IBM Integrated Web Services (IWS)
• Insurance carrier API integrations (quote, bind, rate) prioritize
• API Gateway concepts rate limiting, throttling, routing
• ETL and data transformation from DB2 for i to JSON

Testing & Quality
• Functional API test design and execution (good to have with contract testing)
• Consumer-driven contract testing
• API performance and load testing
• API mocking and stubbing for AS400 simulation

Salary Range- $80,000-$100,000 a year
