We are currently seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our team in the United States (US). Candidates must currently be a legal resident of the United States.

A successful Technology Project Manager at NTT DATA in the BFSI Consuting Practice:
  • has responsibility to drive positive outcomes for strategic technology objectives from scope definition, planning and execution ensuring an overall successful delivery.
  • is responsible for providing oversight and leadership for technology projects of varying sizes, including transformational initiatives, with a focus on risk identification and remediation.
  • influences and leads change initiatives.
  • is responsible for program financials, resource management and allocation, project health, and executive reporting.
  • demonstrates consulting acumen through strong client relationships, problem solving and exceptional communication.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership to direct and oversee the scoping, planning and implementation of technology initiatives
  • Partners closely with technology leaders, business leaders and subject matter experts to develop project execution strategies, plans and timelines
  • Defines, develops and implements an effective project operating model and governance framework to drive consistency of delivery
  • Builds relationships and collaborates with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments
  • Proactively monitors and addresses any risks or issues that could compromise on-time delivery, escalating as needed to minimize impacts
  • Facilitates and leads project meetings to solicit and provide status updates to key stakeholders, technology and business leadership
  • Creates, executes and monitors project communication, quality and change management strategies
  • Manages project deadlines, budgets, delivery and acceptance of required deliverables ensuring high quality
  • Adheres to client project management and technology delivery lifecycle processes, standards and guidelines


Required Skills:
  • Project Management experience in a technology environment
  • Experience with both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
  • Proven track record of excellent project delivery, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage work in a dynamic complex environment
  • Partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels to manage, inform and influence outcomes
  • Desire and ability to develop project deliverables with the ability to coach and develop high-performing project teams
  • Executive level verbal and written communication skills, ability to translate technical jargon into simplified and concise communications
  • Executive presence: highly articulate and demonstrates
  • Ability to travel to client locations (20-40%) as needed for key meetings and implementation events


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of Project Management experience in a technology environment
  • 3+ years of project delivery, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage work in a dynamic complex environment
  • 3+ years of experience with both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior technology or business consulting experience
  • Experience delivering project in the Banking and Financial Services Industry
  • Demonstrated understanding of business and technology organization, resources, priorities, and needs
  • Experience implementing initiatives within a multi-vendor, matrixed organization
  • Strong skills in MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, Project)
  • Strong grasp of project management and technology development lifecycle

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $93,816.00-$130,300.00. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.

This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
