Job Description:

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is hiring for the following role in Cambridge, MA (multiple openings): Technical Project Manager II Utilize tools, process, and technical knowledge to integrate and maintain Akamai security, media, and performance solutions for clients; Lead and manage the integration of customer websites onto the Akamai platform; Evaluate and pair customer requirements to applicable Akamai solutions; Define core project management activities, timelines, and responsibilities to establish efficiency and success; Partner with variety of internal business units to ensure project alignment; Track, document and share information to provide visibility to stakeholders. Required Qualification:

Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, Computer Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Networking, or Telecommunications Engineering, plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered or closely related technical role.

Must have: Two (2) years of experience with the following: Designing and implementing customer-focused technical solutions; integrating customer websites; architecture assessments; configuration and optimization of media setups; providing product training; HTTP Live Streaming with HLS, HDS, and DASH; Net storage and Server-Side Scripting; Media Analytics; Adaptive Media Delivery; Caching; MSL4; and Video Encoding.

Compensation

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For US based candidates only - the base salary for this position ranges from $100700 -$181300/year; a candidate's salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
