Akamai Technologies, Inc. is hiring for the following role in Cambridge, MA (multiple openings): Senior Manager Site Reliability Engineering Leading, managing and mentoring a team of talented site reliability engineers who manage and support Akamai products; Improving reliability, scalability, security, and usability for thousands of clusters and global enterprises; Defining requirements as part of the product lifecycle to influence the new designs and standards; Partnering with stakeholders to understand and shape the product roadmap; Taking ownership for technical and product innovation, exercising design thinking, analyzing systems and developing solutions; Organizing and operating in an Agile environment to drive SRE activities; Focusing on team goals and building collaborative and effective working relationships through establishing commitments, accountability and trust. Required Qualification:

Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Applications, or Telecommunications Engineering, plus four (4) years of experience in the Job offered or closely related engineering role.

Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Applications, or Telecommunications Engineering, plus six (6) years of experience in the Job offered or closely related engineering role.

Must have: Four (4) years of experience with the following: GIT, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, XLDeploy, XLRelease, Ansible, Terraform, AWS, AZURE, Java/J2EE, Spring/Spring boot, RESTFul Services, Oracle, JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, JBOSS, and Websphere. Any amount of experience with the following: CI/CD Automation, IaC, Object Oriented Programming, ArgoCD, Kubernetes, Docker, CDK, and Web Services.

Compensation

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For US based candidates only - the base salary for this position ranges from $254155-$313100 /year; a candidate's salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
