Systems Integration Engineer
Systems Integration Engineering Support, Senior

HX5 is currently seeking a Systems Integration Engineer for the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's Support Equipment and Vehicles Division (AFLCMC/ROZ) at Robins AFB, in Warner Robins, Georgia.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Plan and perform systems engineering activities in accordance with applicable AFLCMC, Air Force, and AFMC engineering policies, guides, specifications, and standards.
  • Develop, review, and recommend technical requirements, specifications, verification methods, acquisition documentation, and other systems engineering inputs supporting program execution and source selections.
  • Apply systems engineering expertise across system definition, development, integration, sustainment, testing, human systems integration, interoperability, OSS&E, digital engineering, agile software development, and airworthiness certification.
  • Assess and manage systems engineering risks by supporting risk reviews, tracking action items and metrics, evaluating program constraints, and developing documentation supporting airworthiness certification and military flight releases.
  • Analyze program databases, Built-In Test failure reports, technical proposals, FRACAS and reliability reports, and field failure data to verify accuracy, identify issues, and support corrective actions.
  • Provide system integration guidance to program offices for system installation and maintenance while supporting the proper classification, documentation, and resolution of deficiency reports.

Education and Experience:

Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience:
  • Master's or Doctorate Degree from an Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited program in a related field and ten (10) years' relative experience, five of which must be in the Department of Defense (DoD).
  • Bachelor's degree from an Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited program and twelve (12) years' relative experience, five (5) of which must be in the DoD.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.

Other Position Requirements:
  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
  • Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance by date of hire.
  • Must be able to travel, including air travel.
