Systems Integration EngineerSystems Integration Engineering Support, SeniorRobins AFBWarner Robins, GAHX5 is currently seeking a Systems Integration Engineer for the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's Support Equipment and Vehicles Division (AFLCMC/ROZ) at Robins AFB, in Warner Robins, Georgia.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Plan and perform systems engineering activities in accordance with applicable AFLCMC, Air Force, and AFMC engineering policies, guides, specifications, and standards.
- Develop, review, and recommend technical requirements, specifications, verification methods, acquisition documentation, and other systems engineering inputs supporting program execution and source selections.
- Apply systems engineering expertise across system definition, development, integration, sustainment, testing, human systems integration, interoperability, OSS&E, digital engineering, agile software development, and airworthiness certification.
- Assess and manage systems engineering risks by supporting risk reviews, tracking action items and metrics, evaluating program constraints, and developing documentation supporting airworthiness certification and military flight releases.
- Analyze program databases, Built-In Test failure reports, technical proposals, FRACAS and reliability reports, and field failure data to verify accuracy, identify issues, and support corrective actions.
- Provide system integration guidance to program offices for system installation and maintenance while supporting the proper classification, documentation, and resolution of deficiency reports.
Education and Experience:Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience:
- Master's or Doctorate Degree from an Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited program in a related field and ten (10) years' relative experience, five of which must be in the Department of Defense (DoD).
- Bachelor's degree from an Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited program and twelve (12) years' relative experience, five (5) of which must be in the DoD.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.
Other Position Requirements:- Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
- Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance by date of hire.
- Must be able to travel, including air travel.
