As SVP, Strategy, you will help identify new avenues for growth, forge transformative partnerships, and drive initiatives that position the organization for long-term success in an evolving marketplace.

Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing)
  • Lead the development and articulation of the division's overarching strategy, identifying growth opportunities and aligning initiatives with enterprise objectives.
  • Partner with divisional and enterprise leadership to translate strategic vision into actionable plans, measurable outcomes, and business impact.
  • Drive the evaluation, development, and execution of strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and other corporate development initiatives.
  • Define and refine M&A priorities, assess potential opportunities, and maintain a strategically aligned pipeline of prospective investments and acquisitions.
  • Guide the evolution of the organization's external platform partnership portfolio, unlocking new opportunities for growth and strengthening ecosystem relationships.
  • Build and scale a proactive business development capability, establishing repeatable processes for opportunity identification, sourcing, and engagement.
  • Lead high-impact, cross-functional strategic initiatives that require coordination across multiple operational functions and stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and prioritization for a team that includes senior leaders, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence.


Qualifications (What We're Looking For)
  • 15+ years of experience in corporate strategy, corporate development, business development, strategy consulting, or a related field.
  • Deep understanding of media and technology ecosystems, with a strong interest in the evolving publisher landscape and emerging market trends.
  • Proven strategic thinking and analytical capabilities, with the ability to translate complex insights into actionable business strategies.
  • Significant experience supporting corporate development activities, including developing M&A theses, evaluating opportunities, and participating in transaction processes.
  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale strategic initiatives from concept through execution in complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Strong project and program management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build alignment among senior executives and external partners.
  • Proven leadership experience developing high-performing teams and mentoring senior-level talent.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, identify opportunities, and drive results in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • This position is based in New York City and requires in-office attendance four days per week.

The base salary range for this role is $310,000-$350,000. This role is also eligible for bonus and/or commission compensation. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
