Full Job Description
The Air Force Test Center is looking for a Full-Time Supervisory Acquisition Program Manager (NH-1101-04) to work at the 96th Test Systems Squadron (96 TSSQ/RNXT) at Eglin Air Force Base.

In this position, you will serve as the Portfolio Lead for the Long-Range Weapon Kill Chain (LRWKC) Investment Portfolio, composed of 19 POM initiatives to enhance test capabilities to meet advanced armament testing requirements. This position will lead an interdisciplinary team of 15 Civilians, manage the execution of $850M through FY32, and serve as the programmatic authority to critical stakeholders including AFLCMC/EB Armament Directorate and AFTC Leadership.

Location: Valparaiso, Florida (Eglin Air Force Base)

Typical 2026 salary range: $125,776 - $192,331 per year (includes locality)

Telework Information: Eligible for situational telework only, including Emergency and Office of Personnel Management (OPM) prescribed "Unscheduled Telework"

Desired Skills:

-Plans and oversees the program management efforts of a portfolio of programs relevant to the Test & Evaluation mission for long range weapons systems from acquisition strategy formulation to fielding

-Knowledge of a wide range of acquisition program management fundamentals, policies, practices, standards, regulations and requirements as applying to systems acquisition

-Serves as focal point for collaborating across multi-functional teams including program management, systems engineering, contracting, financial management, logistics and sustainment, and others as required

Major Duties:

-Function as the Supervisory Program Manager for the Long-Range Weapons Kill Chain (LRWKC) portfolio

-Oversee the program management activities for the acquisition of multiple specialized instrumentation systems, improvement to current capabilities, and construction projects

-Establish program management criteria and work to convert strategic goals into programs/capabilities.

-Define, establish, and direct organizational focus on the highly complex projects expected to be executed under the LRWKC portfolio

-Exercise first-level supervisory responsibilities over 5 personnel, and second-level supervisory responsibilities over 10 personnel

-Knowledge of the policies, practices, regulations, and laws concerning the acquisition management process and initiatives.

-Skill to plan, organize, and direct the functions and staff in critical aspects of development and production, support of systems, subsystems, or equipment and to coordinate various aspects of systems acquisition such as engineering, contracting, financial management, configuration, test, and manufacturing.

-Knowledge of the mission, roles, functions, organizational structure, and operation of the DoW, Air Force, and organizations that govern, interface with, and/or influence

systems acquisition, development, and/or sustainment, and knowledge of planning,

programming, and budgeting cycles, financial systems, and restrictions on expenditure of funds.
