Warehouse Supervisor

What to expect:

Job Summary

Responsible for overseeing Production Planning and Warehouse operations by ensuring all material picking, shipping, and receiving activities are completed on schedule. Organizes, plans, and prioritizes work while proactively identifying issues and driving them to resolution.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The incumbent may be asked to perform additional function-related activities as reasonably required by business needs.

Direct the daily activities of material handlers, receiving clerks, and warehouse personnel.

Ensure a high level of inventory accuracy; review inventory transactions to maintain data integrity.

Conduct daily cycle counts, publish results, reconcile discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.

Maintain inventory location accuracy and ensure transaction data integrity.

Coordinate material flow, including shortage resolution, to support the Master Production Schedule and other demands in a timely manner.

Ensure materials for Field Service demands are picked and delivered promptly.

Review Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and take appropriate action to maintain product configuration control and inventory integrity.

Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.

Implement and enforce FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and consignment inventory processes.

Ensure inventory control compliance, including cycle counts and SOX requirements.

Lead, coach, and develop team members through mentoring and performance management.

Provide continuous feedback and foster a culture of ongoing improvement.

Conduct performance evaluations through goal setting and formal review processes.

Maintain high levels of customer service across the department.

Planning & Cross-Functional Responsibilities

Lead long-term planning activities and align resources to support production plans across a 0-24 month horizon for multiple product platforms.

Manage communication between production sites and corporate functions (Marketing, Sales, and Supply Chain) regarding production planning and demand changes.

Monitor and manage ERP system processes related to production and demand planning.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize planning and production control systems.

Assess the impact of demand fluctuations on production plans and capacity.

Evaluate the financial impact of demand changes in collaboration with the Finance team.

Maintain clear and efficient communication channels with corporate Marketing and Supply Chain teams to support decision-making.

Support and lead high-impact projects, including ERP implementations and supply chain software initiatives.

What we expect:

Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field preferred

Minimum of 5 years of experience in planning and warehouse management

Skills

APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP) preferred

Working knowledge of Oracle applications preferred

Strong understanding of inventory control techniques and systems

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Compliance

Must comply with all applicable FDA regulations and ISO requirements

The annualized base salary range for this salaried role is $77,000-128,300 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
