What to expect:

The Global Sourcing Analyst focused on direct categories is a core execution role within the Strategic Sourcing organization. This position expands analytical bandwidth and sourcing execution capacity, enabling the development and delivery of multi-year, transformational savings programs. You will partner closely with Category Managers / Sourcing Managers and cross-functional stakeholders to analyze spend, execute competitive sourcing events (RFPs, RFQs, RFIs), engage supplier markets, and track savings and performance realization. This role is not transactional buying. It is designed for analytically strong professionals who drive sourcing outcomes, influence decisions, and help institutionalize best-in-class procurement capabilities.
  • Analyze enterprise spend data to identify cost optimization, demand leverage, and sourcing opportunities
  • Support development and execution of category strategies aligned with multi-year value creation objectives
  • Execute competitive sourcing initiatives including RFP/RFQ development, supplier communication, bid analysis, and award recommendations
  • Build and maintain analytical tools, dashboards, and savings trackers
  • Conduct supplier and market research including benchmarking and cost analysis
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure sourcing strategies are executable and adopted
  • Support contract implementation, supplier transitions, and post-award savings realization tracking
  • Standardize sourcing processes, templates, and operating rhythms
  • Prepare executive-ready materials summarizing recommendations and financial impact

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including financial and scenario modeling. Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations. Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree required (Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field). Master's Degree preferred.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience
  • Experience supporting or executing RFP/RFQ sourcing events preferred
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; Familiarity with Oracle ERP and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qliksense/Qlikview) experience a plus

Travel

Up to 5% travel

Work Schedule

Hybrid work schedule with a minimum of 4 days in office

The annualized base salary range for this role is $66,000 to $99,500 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand..
