Stainless Steel Piping Construction Project Manager | Semiconductor Construction (Arizona)

Full-Time | Industrial Construction / Semiconductor

We are hiring an experienced Stainless Steel Piping Construction Project Manager to lead the planning, fabrication, installation, and commissioning of stainless steel piping projects on a major semiconductor construction project in Arizona.

This role requires a strong project leader with hands-on experience managing stainless steel piping or structural steel fabrication projects in an industrial environment. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of fabrication and erection processes, stainless steel piping codes and welding standards, and experience managing complex construction projects from planning through completion.

Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates currently residing within the United States or Canada who are relocating to Phoenix, AZ.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all phases of stainless steel piping projects, including scope definition, design review, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and execution strategies
  • Monitor project progress to ensure on-time and on-budget completion
  • Coordinate fabrication, erection, installation, and commissioning activities in an industrial construction environment
  • Ensure all work complies with ASTM, ASME, AWS, OSHA, and client-specific requirements
  • Review and approve designs, specifications, fabrication drawings, and project documentation
  • Identify and resolve technical, scheduling, and construction issues promptly
  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients, engineers, fabricators, erectors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
  • Schedule and lead project meetings and prepare project status reports
  • Maintain accurate records of correspondence, change orders, deliverables, and project documentation
  • Conduct regular site inspections to verify workmanship, material quality, and compliance with project specifications
  • Enforce safety protocols, hazard mitigation procedures, and occupational health requirements
  • Track job costs, manage billing, forecast expenses, and maintain project costs within budget
  • Manage change orders, contract negotiations, and contractual obligations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and industry partners
  • Represent the company professionally with clients and project stakeholders
  • Manage multiple priorities while maintaining project quality, schedule, and budget objectives

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered
  • Minimum 3 years of prior experience in a similar project management role required
  • Proven experience managing stainless steel piping or structural steel fabrication projects
  • Experience with fabrication, erection, installation, and commissioning processes in an industrial environment
  • Prior experience with semiconductor tool hookup projects is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of stainless steel piping codes and standards, including ASTM and ASME
  • Knowledge of welding standards, including AWS requirements
  • Prior experience and knowledge of GTAW stainless steel welding processes and projects is critical to this role
  • Strong understanding of stainless steel piping fabrication practices
  • Experience working with fabrication drawings, specifications, and construction documentation
  • Proficiency with project management software, CAD, and fabrication documentation systems
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • English/Mandarin bilingual skills highly desirable
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA

Employment Requirements
