McLane is seeking a strategic and technically accomplished Senior Manager of Vulnerability & Attack Surface Management to lead enterprise programs focused on identifying, prioritizing, and reducing cybersecurity risk.
This leader will own the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of McLane's Vulnerability Management, Attack Surface Management, and Continuous Threat Exposure Management programs. The role provides leadership across on-premises, cloud, application, and internet-facing environments, ensuring cyber exposures are continuously discovered, validated, prioritized, and remediated.
The ideal candidate combines deep cybersecurity expertise with strong people leadership, business judgment, and the ability to translate complex technical risks into clear, actionable priorities. This role partners closely with Cyber Operations, Infrastructure, Cloud, Application Development, Governance, Risk and Compliance, and business leadership to improve McLane's security posture and resilience.
This is a hybrid position which will require the candidate to report and work from the office at least three days a week. Therefore, interested candidates should be within a 50-minute radius from Temple, TX or Austin, TX.

What You'll Do:- Lead enterprise vulnerability and exposure management programs.
- Drive attack surface discovery and remediation efforts.
- Build and mature CTEM capabilities and processes.
- Partner with Cyber Operations, Infrastructure, Cloud, Application Development, and GRC teams.
- Develop executive-level reporting, metrics, and risk dashboards.
- Establish governance, remediation standards, and accountability programs.
- Coach and develop a team of cybersecurity professionals.
- Drive automation, process improvement, and risk reduction initiatives.
What We're Looking For:- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 10+ years of IT experience with 8+ years focused on cybersecurity.
- Experience leading enterprise-scale vulnerability or exposure management programs.
- Strong knowledge of Vulnerability Management, EASM, CSPM, CTEM, and cyber risk management.
- Experience presenting cybersecurity metrics and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Proven people leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
