Title: Sr. Manager, Procurement

Location: Jersey City, NJ/ New York (Hybrid 3 - 4 Days Onsite)

Reports To: SVP, Finance

The Role:

Sunbit is seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior Manager, Procurement to support and optimize the company's indirect vendor spend across the organization. This role will focus primarily on IT, SaaS, and AI-related procurement, while also supporting vendor management initiatives across consulting services, facilities, professional services, outsourcing, and other operational spend categories.

This individual contributor role will partner closely with teams across Technology, Finance, Legal, HR, Marketing, and Operations to drive cost savings, improve vendor oversight, support contract negotiations, and help establish scalable procurement processes as the company continues to grow.

What you'll own:

  • Manage indirect procurement activities across categories including IT, SaaS, AI tools, consulting services, professional services, facilities, and other third-party vendors.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to support sourcing initiatives, vendor selection, contract negotiations, and renewal management.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, vendor consolidation, and improved purchasing efficiency across departments.
  • Support RFP/ RFQ processes, vendor evaluations, pricing analysis, and contract reviews.
  • Track vendor spend, contract terms, renewal timelines, and procurement-related metrics to support business decision-making.
  • Partner with Finance, Legal, and Information Security teams to support vendor governance, due diligence, and compliance requirements.
  • Help establish and improve procurement processes, approval workflows, and vendor management standards.
  • Build and maintain strong vendor and stakeholder relationships while balancing business needs and cost management objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, vendor pricing, and emerging technologies related to SaaS, AI, and enterprise tools.
  • Support procurement reporting, budgeting discussions, and operational planning initiatives.

Requirements

What you'll bring:

  • 5+ years of procurement, strategic sourcing, vendor management, or related experience.
  • Experience managing indirect spend categories, including IT, SaaS, software, consulting, or professional services.
  • Proven experience supporting vendor negotiations, contract renewals, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and contract management skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with teams including Technology, Finance, Legal, HR, and Operations.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in a fast-paced or high-growth environment preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience preferred.

  • We believe in paying fairly and equitably based on a number of factors including but not limited to previous experience, relevant work history, interview performance, geographical location, internal equity, and expected level of ownership.
  • We are targeting a salary of $165,000 - $185,000 per year for this role
  • This role will also be granted company equity via stock options
