Description WHAT YOU WILL DO The Sr. Integration Engineer is a hands-on technical contributor responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise integration solutions using MuleSoft and TIBCO. This role drives integration modernization through API-led and microservices-based architectures while partnering with architects, application teams, and offshore resources to deliver scalable, reliable, and maintainable integrations.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT 1. Integration Development & Engineering Delivery
- Design, develop, test, and deploy APIs and integrations using MuleSoft and modern integration patterns.
- Lead integration projects, coordinate offshore resources, and promote development best practices.
- Build reusable, scalable integrations with effective error handling, monitoring, and performance optimization.
2. TIBCO Integration Development & Legacy Support
- Support and enhance TIBCO-based integrations and messaging services.
- Troubleshoot integration issues and support modernization efforts from legacy platforms to MuleSoft.
3. Integration Design Collaboration & Code Quality
- Partner with architects and application teams to deliver integration solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to ensure quality and maintainability.
4. Legacy Modernization & Microservices Enablement
- Refactor legacy integrations into reusable APIs and microservices.
- Support API-led connectivity initiatives and migration to modern integration platforms.
5. Integration Support
- Support Informatica ETL processes, data integrations, and production issue resolution.
- Partner with data and engineering teams to ensure integration reliability and performance.
Qualifications WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE - 8+ years of experience in enterprise integration, middleware development, or API engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including API development, DataWeave, REST APIs, and API-led connectivity.
- Experience with TIBCO BusinessWorks, enterprise messaging, event-driven architectures, and legacy modernization.
- Experience with cloud and hybrid environments (AWS preferred).
- Experience supporting enterprise integrations, code reviews, engineering standards, and CI/CD practices.
- Strong understanding of integration patterns, data transformation, performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Informatica and enterprise data integration concepts preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- MuleSoft, TIBCO, and Informatica certifications are a plus.
