Data Engineer / SQL DeveloperPrimary Responsibilities- Design, build, maintain and troubleshoot data extracts and SQL queries supporting CMM, CBM and program reporting.
- Transform source data into reliable datasets for financial and operational analysis.
- Support automation of recurring monthly, quarterly and annual processes.
- Perform data validation and reconciliation and assist analysts with identifying anomalies and data-quality issues.
- Support interfaces between CSP systems/tools and analytics/reporting capabilities.
Required Skills- 5-8+ years in data engineering, database development, SQL development or related technical roles
- Bachelor's degree required in computer science, information systems, data analytics, engineering or related discipline
- Advanced SQL development.
- Data extraction, transformation and reporting.
- Relational databases and data structures.
- Building and maintaining repeatable data extracts.
- Data validation and reconciliation.
- Data integration and troubleshooting.
- Advanced Excel.
- Working knowledge of Power BI/Tableau or comparable visualization platforms.
- Ability to document technical processes, data definitions and data flows.

- SharePoint integration.
- Government cloud environments.
- FileOnQ.
- CMM or similar financial/cost-management applications.
Location & Work Requirements- Candidates must be local to the Washington, DC metropolitan area and prepared to work onsite as needed based on business requirements.
- U.S. citizenship is required for this position.
- This position is contingent upon contract award.
Preferred certifications: Microsoft Azure/Data certifications, SQL/database certifications, Power BI or equivalent.
Salary Range 130,000-140,000
