Overview

The position:

Responsible for ensuring software requirements and deliverables at the portfolio level that are aligned to airline Customer expectations. Customer advocate, ensuring Customer and development teams develop and maintain a clear software strategy that aligns with the Company's product roadmap. Lead, coach and collaborate with stakeholders and teams, resolve impediments, manage risks, and drive relentless improvement.

Responsibilities

What We're looking for:

Strategy & Planning
  • Manage Customer portfolio delivery, representing the strategic execution vision and priorities for the customer.
  • Responsible for the overall priority and feature backlog for a customer portfolio, and executes the implementation strategy of products and solutions for the customer, aligning with PACs roadmap across ARTs.
  • Responsible for planning and forecasting for solution delivery, identifying and resolving impediments and managing risks.
  • Responsible to ensure delivered products meets the expectations of customers.

Execution & Delivery
  • Manage pre-planning activities to prepare for Program Increment (PI) planning to align appropriate customer features to individual ARTs.
  • Actively participate in PI planning, representing the strategic vision and priorities for the customer. Be an active participant in team discussions, sharing insights and expertise to help others learn and grow. Contribute to team learning by offering solutions, best practices, and supporting peers.
  • Responsible for consistent quality of customer portfolio delivery to Customers based on alignment and priorities.
  • Provide clear goals, guidance, and a shared understanding of Customer priorities aligned with defined roadmap through Agile methodologies. Stay adaptable and open to feedback, continuously improving and contributing to process optimization and innovation for Customer delivery.
  • Track, manage, adjust, and execute based on changing customer needs and business priorities

Leadership
  • Lead by example by exhibiting high standards of responsibility and accountability.
  • Lead and empower Agile teams and colleagues by providing coaching, guidance, knowledge sharing, and mentorship on SAFe practices and Agile principles.

The pay range of $142,000 - $238,000 is just one component of Panasonic's total package. The final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to individual's knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives. The minimum hourly wage for this role will be the greater of the posted range, or minimum wage for the location where the employee will be working, subject to local minimum wage requirements.

Other Requirements:

Ability to travel to domestic or international locations as required, up to 25% of the time.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelors' degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical field, or 14+ years of related experience in a software development or software delivery role.
  • 10+ years of experience working in a software development or software delivery role, preferably in an Agile methodology.


KNOWLEDGE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS
  • Advanced knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures to deliver system solutions including hardware and software integrations.
  • Ability to determine work priorities and establish operational objectives and work plans.
  • Previous experience executing product or delivery roadmaps to achieve business goals.
  • Advanced level experience supporting a team as a Scrum Master or Project Manager
  • Proven ability to facilitate cross-functional collaboration, participation and buy-in for work groups or project teams, taking a broad perspective to develop solutions that are creative, effective, and often unique.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work across global internal and external stakeholders and customers.
  • Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability in developing and delivering business presentations for senior management and customers.
  • Ability to effectively influence multiple constituencies internally and externally and inspire action without direct organizational management responsibility.
  • Proven experience resolving a wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways.
  • Demonstrated experience inspiring positive change and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated experience achieving alignment, fostering collaboration and connecting key functional partners.

  • Experience and/or certification/training in one or more of the following: Team Management, Change Management, Agile project development, PMP, Lean operations, Six Sigma or other process management techniques and tools (preferred)
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) (preferred)
  • SAFe Agile Certification (preferred)
