What you'll be doing

• Research, design, and develop computer and network software programs.
• Develop software for advertising functions, including business automation applications development for internal advertising revenue operations, including order management and revenue processing for order-to-cash process.
• Troubleshoot operational issues during the execution of order processing, order fulfillment, and revenue processing.
• Utilize skills in software design and problem-solving using software design patterns.
• Apply software design patterns to fulfill Roku's advertising needs.
• Use modern software methodologies like Scrum to work alongside development scrum teams in Roku Advertising engineering.
• Utilize Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) to contribute towards the integration of code with the team for project releases and deployments.

You are required to have

• Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• Will also accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field and 2 years of experience in the position or a related occupation.

Must have coursework, advance level coursework, project background, internship or work experience in each of the following:

1. Application development, process, methodologies of software products.
2. Ad insertion process and converting the insertion order to campaign process for OTT platforms.
3. CTV Campaign management platforms, economics of digital advertising, and ad performance reports.
4. Programming in React and Node languages to develop, enhance web applications.
5. Reproducing, isolating, and debugging issues to provide detailed root cause analysis for bugs.

Up to one day per week telecommuting may be permitted.

For California Only - The annual salary for this position is $225,000 - $282,700

Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location.
