What you'll be doing

• Research, design, and develop computer software programs.
• Develop, create, and modify computer applications software.
• Work alongside a skilled engineering team to design, develop, and maintain large-scale, highly performant, data processing applications.
• Own building features, working directly with product and other engineering teams.
• Demonstrate communication skills in working with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Deliver top-quality software in a timely fashion.
• Build data pipelines to process advertising data using Spark, Airflow and Hive.
• Build RESTful APIs for internal access to data products using Java and containerized deployment.
• Configure continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes for data products and services.

You are required to have

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 1 year of experience in the position or in a related occupation.

Must have at least 1 year of prior work experience in the following:

1. Deploying to and operating in a public cloud such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), etc.
2. OO programming language: either Java or Python.
3. Building data pipelines to process data using Airflow and Spark.
4. Big data design.
5. ETL (Extraction, Transformation and Load).
6. Architecting software designs for Big data platforms.

Up to one day per week telecommuting may be permitted.

For California Only - The annual salary for this position is $207,000 - $360,700.

Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location.
