What you'll do

We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our "New Revenue Team," part of our product-led growth organization. As a member of the New Revenue Team, you will collaborate closely with a team of engineers, product managers, and marketers to rapidly prototype, develop, test, and launch brand-new business concepts. This role goes beyond optimization - it's about creating entirely new growth levers, customer experiences, and offerings that push the boundaries of what Docusign can do. You will be responsible for taking software from ideation to deployment, often venturing into uncharted territory, developing brand-new solutions and iterating based on real-world learnings. You'll thrive by thinking outside the box, understanding the business case for your projects, and setting the pace and breadth for engineers across the company.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Manager, Software Engineering.

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic
  • 5+ years of overall software product development experience
  • 3+ years of experience developing JavaScript/Typescript web applications
  • Experience writing high quality code in JavaScript, Typescript, and React
  • Experience creating secure, efficient backend services in Typescript/Javascript, C#, or other object-oriented programming languages
  • Experience writing and maintaining unit and functional tests for every feature
  • Experience working cooperatively with product management and design to create features that satisfy user needs with simplicity, consistency and robustness
  • Experience identifying, proposing, and implementing process improvements to continuously increase the team's productivity and efficiency
  • Experience participating in Agile environments using Scrum software development practices, automated unit testing, CI/CD, code reviews, and version control systems (Git)
  • B.S. in Computer Science or similar field of study
  • Professional experience with client-side frameworks (React, Redux, Angular or similar modern JS frameworks accepted)
  • Experience with Python, Java or other object oriented programming languages
  • Experience with integration of third-party APIs

  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Experience launching "zero to one" products in a fast paced environment
  • Experience implementing accessible web applications for a global audience
  • Experience with experimentation and A/B testing platforms
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong attention to detail

Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $146,400.00 - $235,375.00 base salary

Washington, Maryland, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $140,100.00 - $206,775.00 base salary

This role is also eligible for the following:
  • Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
  • Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
