Job Description
What you will do:
- Full Stack design and development of embedded software for new products and maintenance of existing products, ensuring all business objectives are met.
- Assist cross functional teams in proto-typing, designing, analysis, and testing.
- Collect and track software defects ensuring that they are corrected in an efficient manner.
- Document software requirements, design methodology, and validation results.
- Participate in efficient and effective code reviews
- Maintain revision control of the product software.
- Represent the team in a positive and professional way.
- Support production through problem solving and bringing added value by lateral thinking.
- Drive continuous improvement within the group
Qualifications
Experience and Background:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related engineering field from an accredited university.
- Experience in C/C++, C#, .NET Core, git/Bitbucket, JAVA,
- Full Stack software development experience is required; Must have a strong background in application/client development, UI/UX implementation as well as back-end server interactions
- Work experience in Linux environment, Android development, or mobile applications
- Proven ability to complete assigned work on-time and on-spec.
- Proven skills in engineering documentation, such as requirements documents, specifications, design reviews etc;
- Demonstrated agility; Exercises judgment as to the need to move project forward vs. maintaining proper engineering discipline and structure.
- Ability/Desire to work in a fast-paced environment; Works with a sense of urgency
- Ability/Desire to learn new things
Preferred:
- Background with Cloud Services and RESTful interface design and usage
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines
- Experience with board bring up solutions
