The Business and Information Services division (BIS) is looking for a Software Engineer to join their team. As a Software Engineer at the Professional Technical 4 level, you will oversee the technical aspects of projects, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. You will help advance a team of talented engineers, providing guidance through complex technical challenges, and driving innovation within the team. This position is ideal for seasoned professionals with 6+ years of software development experience who are eager to take on leadership responsibilities and influence the strategic direction of our technology initiatives.

Position Requirements- PT4: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or related experience in Computer Science, with 6+ years of experience in software development, or a Master's degree with 4+ years of experience in software development, or equivalent
- Advanced knowledge of databases (e.g. SQL Server, Oracle) and SQL
- Demonstrated leadership experience in software projects
- Expertise in software architecture and design patterns
- Strong organizational and project management skills

- To perform the essential functions of this position successful applicants must provide proof of U.S. citizenship, which is required to comply with federal regulations and contract

The expected hiring range for this position is $106,455.00 - $166,069.80.
