Job Summary
The Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing solutions to ensure software quality, reliability, and performance. This role will develop scalable test automation strategies, integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate closely with engineering, product, and UX teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
• Design and implement automated test cases for functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks using tools such as Playwright and Artillery.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous quality validation.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and UX teams to define testing strategies and acceptance criteria.
• Execute manual and automated tests, analyze results, and document findings.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and communicate software defects effectively.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to testing and process improvements.
• Support continuous improvement of test automation practices and quality engineering processes.
• Attend work consistently and perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in software testing and test automation.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and automated test scripting.
• Experience with Playwright and Artillery.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
