Site Inspection Manager - Ferndale, WA.

Intertek's Asset Integrity Management team provides asset life management support to infrastructure, facilities, and equipment through the conception, design, construction, commissioning, operations, and decommissioning phases. Intertek provides specialists and engineering support in all areas of Asset Integrity Management, including design, process safety, mechanical integrity, inspection and maintenance, operational and process support, corrosion, metallurgy, and risk analysis to provide you with Total Quality Assurance.

What are we looking for?

This position is responsible for maintaining and growing established client relationships as well as directing nested staff at a client facility. The position will also be responsible for winning new business opportunities.

Salary & Benefits Information

The base wage or salary range for this position is $75.00-$100.00 per hour. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.

What you'll do:
  • Resolve client service-related issues.
  • Participate in trade events.
  • Regularly meet with existing clients with the goal of penetrating further with Intertek services.
  • Generates quotes for business opportunities.
  • Generates monthly sales activity log through client tracking system.
  • Implements client specific action plans.
  • Identifies and evaluates possible new markets and new clients for existing services.
  • Be knowledgeable of and present ATIC services to client
  • Solicits and evaluates client feedback.

What is takes to be successful in this role:
  • Strong inspection background with 5+ years' experience minimum; API 510/570 preferred, additional certifications a plus
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 4 years Account Management/Sales experience in the Petroleum testing industry. (preferred)
  • Expert presentation skills.
  • Ability to develop professional materials for presentation to the clients.
  • Knowledge of the Petroleum testing industry.
  • Valid TWIC card
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable driving record (required)
  • HH Safety training preferred
  • Ability to develop SWOT analysis for existing and prospective clients.
  • Be aware of, and adhere to, safety practices and policies to ensure your own safety, as well as the safety of others who may be affected by your actions at work
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities and demanding deadlines
  • Must be detailed-oriented and able to effectively prioritize and organize workload, with efficient time management
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively in verbal written and presentation formats
  • Must possess the fundamental technical and administrative skills required to perform the job duties
  • Must be customer focused and quality driven
