Full Job Description
Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Application Developer to join our dynamic Team, The ideal candidate will be responsible for designs, builds, and deploys custom applications and capabilities across our ITSM, ITOM and ITAM ecosystems.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Custom Application Development: Design and build new custom applications from scratch, including data models, user interfaces, and role-based access controls. Build custom scoped applications, service portal widgets, and automated workflows utilizing JavaScript, Glide APIs, and Flow Designer. Adherence of the Common Service Data Model (CSDM), ensuring high-quality CI data visibility.
  • ITSM & ITOM Configuration: Enhance ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, ITAM and ITOM suites.
  • Platform Configuration & Scripting: Write server-side and client-side scripts using JavaScript, GlideScript, Business Rules, UI Policies, and Script Includes.
  • Workflow Automation: Develop and maintain automated workflows, approval processes, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) using Flow Designer.
  • System Integrations: Connect ServiceNow with third-party enterprise systems and databases using REST, SOAP, and Integration Hub.
  • UI/UX Design: Create intuitive, user-friendly Service Portal pages, Service Catalogs, and custom workspaces using UI Builder.
  • Quality Assurance & Testing: Execute comprehensive unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) using the Automated Test Framework (ATF) prior to production deployment.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Experience: Typically 3-5+ years of software development experience, with a minimum of 1-3 years specifically focused on ServiceNow platform development.
  • Technical Skills: Deep proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, and REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Module Knowledge: Well-versed with ServiceNow core modules such as ITSM, ITOM and ITAM
  • Certifications: Strongly preferred to hold the ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in ITSM, ITOM, or ITAM
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and cross-functional communication abilities

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely-related discipline, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience

The typical base pay range for this role is as follows:

  • New York / New Jersey: $145k - $194k
  • Non/New York/New jersey- N/A
