Job Description

We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Product Solutioner to join our Asset Servicing team. This role is located in Boston, MA.

The Senior Vice President, Product Solutioner is a senior individual contributor within the POM Product Management job family, accountable for shaping, validating and delivering complex product solutions across BNY's product portfolio. The role translates client, market, regulatory and internal stakeholder needs into integrated product solutions, ensuring they are commercially viable, operationally sound and aligned to BNY?s strategic priorities. The incumbent collaborates extensively with Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Risk, Finance and Client-facing teams to define solution scope, design end-to-end product constructs, and guide execution through the product lifecycle. By driving disciplined solution discovery, rigorous requirements definition and clear value articulation, this role directly supports BNY?s strategic pillars of client-centricity, operational excellence and scalable growth, and models BNY's principles by acting with integrity, embracing diverse perspectives and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Lead the end-to-end design of complex product solutions (including features, packaging, pricing and delivery model) by synthesizing client needs, market insights, regulatory requirements and internal capabilities, and by demonstrating deep expertise in the POM Product Management function.
  • Serve as the principal solution architect for designated product domains by partnering with Product Managers, Engineering, Operations and Risk to define solution requirements, success metrics and target-state journeys, and by ensuring traceability from business outcomes to detailed specifications.
  • Drive solution discovery and validation activities (e.g., use-case definition, prototyping, proof-of-concept, client pilots) by engaging directly with clients and front-office teams, and by using structured experimentation and data-driven analysis to refine and de-risk proposed solutions.
  • Provide thought leadership on product solution strategy by monitoring industry trends, competitor offerings and emerging technologies, and by recommending innovative, scalable and compliant solutions that enhance BNY's value proposition and support strategic growth initiatives.
  • Govern solution delivery and adoption by establishing clear acceptance criteria, reviewing functional and non-functional designs, challenging underlying assumptions, and partnering with change, training and go-to-market teams to ensure successful implementation and client outcomes.
  • Champion BNY's principles and ways of working by role-modelling inclusive collaboration, transparent communication and disciplined execution, and by coaching peers and junior colleagues on best practices in solution design, stakeholder management and risk-aware decision-making.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
  • 8+ years of total experience
  • Advanced product solution design and requirements analysis skills, with the ability to translate complex client and business needs into coherent, scalable product constructs.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influence skills, including the ability to align diverse functions around a common solution vision and to challenge constructively.
  • Proven strategic and analytical capabilities, including comfort with data-driven decision-making, risk assessment and evaluation of commercial, operational and regulatory trade-offs.
