OverviewRazorfish Health is seeking an SVP, Engagement Strategy to lead the development of connected customer experiences that help healthcare brands engage patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals in meaningful ways. As a senior strategic leader, you will define how brands show up across the customer journey, translating audience insights, business objectives, data, technology, content, and channel expertise into integrated engagement strategies that inspire breakthrough creative and measurable business impact.
This role requires a modern healthcare strategist who understands evolving customer behaviors, omnichannel engagement, digital ecosystems, emerging technologies, and the complex healthcare landscape. You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, lead multidisciplinary teams, and help shape the future of engagement strategy across Razorfish Health.
ResponsibilitiesWhat You'll Do Strategic Leadership - Lead engagement strategy across multiple brands, franchises, or portfolio engagements.
- Develop customer-centric engagement frameworks that connect brand strategy to channel activation, content experiences, and customer journeys.
- Define how brands engage audiences across paid, owned, earned, and emerging touchpoints.
- Translate audience, market, behavioral, and business insights into actionable engagement plans.
- Shape omnichannel strategies that drive awareness, consideration, adoption, adherence, and loyalty.
- Ensure all strategic recommendations are grounded in customer needs, data, and measurable business outcomes.
Client Partnership - Serve as a senior strategic advisor to client stakeholders across marketing, commercial, digital, media, and customer experience functions.
- Lead executive-level workshops, presentations, and strategic planning sessions.
- Build trusted client relationships and influence decision-making at the highest levels.
- Identify growth opportunities and proactively recommend innovative solutions to business challenges.
Integrated Planning & Collaboration - Partner closely with Brand Strategy, Creative, Media, Data & Analytics, Experience Design, Technology, Medical Strategy, and Account teams.
- Develop integrated engagement ecosystems that align messaging, content, channels, and experiences across the full customer journey.
- Provide strategic leadership throughout campaign development, launch planning, and optimization efforts.
- Champion connected thinking across all teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
Audience & Experience Strategy - Lead audience discovery, segmentation, journey development, experience mapping, and engagement planning.
- Uncover insights regarding customer behaviors, motivations, barriers, and decision-making processes.
- Define experience principles, channel roles, content ecosystems, and engagement frameworks.
- Guide personalization and customer experience initiatives that improve relevance and performance.
Innovation & Thought Leadership - Stay ahead of healthcare, technology, channel, and customer experience trends.
- Identify opportunities to incorporate emerging platforms, AI-enabled experiences, digital health solutions, and innovative engagement approaches.
- Elevate the agency's strategic capabilities through thought leadership, mentorship, and best-practice development.
- Represent Razorfish Health as a strategic leader in internal and external forums.
Team Leadership - Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engagement strategists.
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing culture.
- Provide coaching that strengthens strategic thinking, storytelling, presentation skills, and client leadership capabilities.
- Help recruit, retain, and develop top strategic talent.
QualificationsWhat We're Looking For - 12+ years of experience in engagement strategy, digital strategy, customer experience strategy, communications planning, or related teams.
- Significant healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences experience required.
- Deep understanding of customer journeys, omnichannel marketing, digital ecosystems, media, CRM, social, content, and experience design.
- Experience leading integrated brand engagements across both HCP and patient audiences.
- Proven success influencing senior client stakeholders and leading strategic business discussions.
- Strong background in audience research, segmentation, journey mapping, and engagement planning.
- Exceptional storytelling, workshop facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Experience building and leading high-performing strategic teams.
- Ability to balance big-picture vision with practical execution.
- Passion for innovation, emerging technologies, and the future of healthcare engagement.

Compensation Range: USD $180,215.00 - USD $299,637.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. This role may also be eligible for bonus or incentive compensation. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
