Compensation: $140,000 - $190,000 (based on experience)
What Youll Do As a Senior Software Engineer, youll play a key technical leadership role in designing, developing, and delivering software that powers our enterprise robotic storage systems.
Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance production software using modern C++.
• Architect and implement complex software for robotics, storage systems, and hardware control.
• Design scalable, maintainable, and testable software using modern object-oriented design principles and design patterns.
• Develop software for Linux-based enterprise storage platforms.
• Drive technical direction and influence architectural decisions across multiple products.
• Mentor junior engineers through design reviews, code reviews, and technical coaching.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management, Firmware, Hardware Engineering, Test Engineering, and Customer Support throughout the development lifecycle.
• Continuously improve software quality through automated testing, code reviews, refactoring, and engineering best practices.
• Lead root cause analysis of complex customer issues and drive permanent corrective actions.
• Champion software quality, maintainability, and performance across the engineering organization.
• Evaluate and introduce new technologies, tools, and engineering practices that improve product quality and development efficiency.
What You Bring Required Qualifications • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of modern C++ (C++11/14/17/20) development experience.
• Strong understanding of:
• Object-oriented design
• Memory management
• RAII
• Smart pointers
• Multithreading and concurrency
• STL
• Exception safety
• Experience developing software on Linux platforms.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Experience designing large-scale, maintainable software architectures.
• Experience leading technical projects from design through production.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to mentor engineers and influence technical direction across teams.
Preferred Qualifications • Experience developing software for robotics or hardware control systems.
• Experience with enterprise storage systems, SAN, NAS, or tape technologies.
• Experience with networking protocols such as TCP/IP and REST APIs.
• Experience with Boost or other modern C++ libraries.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.

Compensation: $128,500 - 150K/ Year. While this salary range is a good faith and reasonable estimate, a candidates actual salary will be competitive based on a variety of factors including the candidates knowledge, skills, and experience.
