Job Description

The Loyalty Marketing Specialist Senior plays a critical support role on the Loyalty Marketing team, partnering closely with strategy, creative, and execution partners to bring campaigns to life within Loyalty Retention across Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack. This role owns hands-on planning and delivery — from early discovery through launch — helping ensure campaigns run smoothly and meet business outcomes. This role builds the foundational Loyalty Marketing skills and competencies that prepare individuals for end-to-end campaign ownership and future leadership opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Strategy and Delivery

  • Contributes to discovery and strategy development — informing messaging, channel mix, and audience recommendations by applying past campaign performance (financial, customer, channel) to help solve the intended business outcome.
  • Translates strategy, customer experience, insights, and available capabilities into channel plans and recommendations that drive business outcomes.

Campaign Execution and Readiness

  • Owns and coordinates execution end to end — ensures creative delivers on campaign objectives, the intended customer experience is executed effectively, and campaigns are launch-ready through seamless execution and proactive risk mitigation.
  • Owns campaign performance management, optimizing results through real-time monitoring and adjustments during the campaign while evaluating post-campaign performance to identify learnings and inform future initiatives.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Communicates and influences effectively across all levels — translating campaign strategy and outcomes into clear, actionable insight for stakeholders and leadership, including status updates, escalation, and solution-oriented recommendations.
  • Coordinates and communicates campaign readiness across all execution teams to ensure smooth delivery — with close attention to detail and strong working knowledge of all timelines and moving pieces.
  • Partners and builds trusted relationships across Analytics, Finance, Operations, Creative, Credit, Events, Merchants, Technology, Legal & Compliance, Digital Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, and Media partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing, campaign management, loyalty program marketing, or a related field, ideally within a retail or consumer-focused environment. Experience managing consumer marketing campaign execution and delivery is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience applying customer and performance data to inform campaign strategy.
  • Experience owning launch and quality validation processes, with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and articulate recommendations directly to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Skilled collaborator, able to work effectively across a variety of teams and functions.
  • Familiarity with modern marketing technologies and platforms, and proactively integrating AI into daily ways of working.
