Full Job Description
Senior Manager (Test Consultant) (full-time; multiple openings) needed in Chicago, IL and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. to lead and oversee software quality assurance and testing activities across multiple projects involving customized business applications. Planning, coordination, execution, and oversight of software testing and quality assurance processes, including system testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing, and regression testing. Lead QA efforts to ensure software applications meet defined functional requirements, quality standards, and acceptance criteria prior to implementation. Collaborate with senior leadership, project management, and development teams on risk assessment related to software quality, defect trends, and testing outcomes. Communicate testing status, quality risks, and remediation progress to stakeholders through reports and status updates. Ensure that final software deliverables undergo appropriate independent verification and validation prior to release. Job Specification Must have a Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering(any), Business, Technology, or a related field, plus three (3) years of software development, testing, consulting, or business analysis experience in IT field. In the alternative, we will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering(any), Business, Technology, or a related field, plus six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate software development, testing, consulting or business analysis experience in IT field. Must have one (1) year of IT testing work experience using the following: Selenium, Jenkins, HP ALM, and SOAP UI. All experience may be acquired concurrently. Travel and relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. required based on business needs. International travel not required. Travel not to exceed 5% / year for meetings and to complete assigned projects of varying lengths. Telecommuting may be permitted as needed. The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $121,389.00 - $230,790.00. Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law. The actual compensation offered to any candidate may vary but will not be less than of the posted range minimum and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction. It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
