Team

The Core HR technology plays a critical role in enabling HR Technology to deliver against its mission to bring innovation and value to the Bank with confidence and reliability.

In this role you will:

  • Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge. Develops a close partnership with their user and technology/engineering stakeholders.
  • Provides the overall strategy to operate and enhance SAP SuccessFactors EC. Leads a team to design and implement solutions to meet business requirements. Manages the formulation of deployment strategies for projects and business as usual (BAU) ensuring compatibility with existing HR systems.
  • Supports GHRT teams with the design of SAP SuccessFactors. Leads a team of technology experts focused on the design of cross-platform solutions within SFSF.
  • Works in collaboration with the test teams to ensure timely delivery of quality products/functions consistent with the business needs and priorities of Global HR. Troubleshoot when problems arise and contribute to their resolution in a hands-on manner when necessary.
  • Invests in team capabilities by providing knowledge transfer to team members, planning appropriate training, and mentoring to ensure the highest standards.
  • Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Independently resolve complex, multi-faceted problems to meet the business needs, by applying their HR and technological knowledge to the design of methodologies, models, and/or systems solutions. This includes conducting research and analysis, accurately and clearly defining user requirements and processes, participating in the reengineering of the HR business process workflows, and liaising with the users.
  • Participate in the systems implementation process by interpreting business requirements into technical specifications, systems analysis, documenting detailed reporting requirements, ensuring integration with existing related HR systems, support the development of test strategies and test cases, defining user procedures and workflows, developing conversion and implementation strategies, verifying conversion, and providing post-implementation support.
  • Participate in the review of Quality Assurance (QA) test strategies for assigned projects/initiatives to ensure the planned testing is comprehensive and consistent with the business requirements. Support QA testing by analyzing defects to: (i) provide clarification of business requirements; (ii) provide clarification of technical specifications; (iii) define which defects need to be resolved for implementation; and (iv) negotiate the severity classification of defects with the user.
  • Continually acquire and enhance knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems, strategies and policies, industry best practices and methodologies, regulatory requirements, internal bank processes, and rapidly changing technology to be able to provide effective business solutions and services to the end user business lines and understanding how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Independently resolve problems to meet the business needs. This may involve rapid prototyping, with requirements and solutions developed on an iterative basis that provides interim deliverables until a final production solution is created. This includes conducting research and analysis, accurately and clearly defining user requirements and processes, and liaising with the users.
  • Knowledge of Career Development and how individuals manage their careers within and between organizations. Able to structure the career progress of employees and prepare programs for individual development.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?

  • 5+ years combined SAP SuccessFactors experience, preference in Employee Central
  • A recognized undergraduate degree in business, economics, mathematics, or a related discipline, along with 4 to 6 years of practical experience is required.
  • Certification of SAP SuccessFactors in at least two modules is a must.
  • Expertise in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to speak fluently in English and Spanish is a must.
  • Support SuccessFactors EC and other HR System that feeds or gets feed from EC.
  • Work across teams to understand, document, and communicate impact of intake and project requirements.
  • Proven interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills to build consensus and obtain cooperation from both users and senior management. These skills, along with the incumbent's good time management and organizational skills, will allow the incumbent to effectively manage small projects while planning and scheduling resources within those projects to optimize productivity.
  • Participate and understand in all types of design, develop, test, and deploy phases for new projects or requirements.
  • Lead conversation with business users and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Coaching, mentoring and development.
  • Must have a very good understanding of current IT practices, systems development techniques, including requirements specification and testing methodologies, real time analytical and formal modelling tools and keep current with rapidly changing technology.
