You will be managing a group of architects responsible for technical enablement and ongoing improvement of our industry leading digital banking experience.
  • You are a hands-on manager with a startup mindset and deep technical skills, applying creativity and passion to explore opportunities for elevating both our technical platform and delivery practices to levels that the industry will want to mimic, while delivering to our current commitments.
  • You pride yourself on building highly adaptive teams through coaching and hands on examples of new and better ways to meet the needs of your customers. You strive for a higher sense of purpose and a desire to create business value.
  • You will provide overall leadership and technical guidance that enables creative delivery of solutions spanning mobile and web applications, integrations, backend services and APIs.
  • You will take responsibility for refining the application architecture and technical delivery 'vision', ensuring that every member of the team keeps that vision clearly in mind. You will partner with Enterprise Architecture towards refining the engineering roadmap and will work with other Engineering leaders and stakeholders on applying the engineering OKRs to optimize strategic Engineering KPI's.
  • You will leverage your natural leadership skills taking responsibility for ensuring that software is delivered on time, on budget and in a way that meets the business expectations.

  • You relentlessly pursue avenues to address issues proactively, through ongoing refinement of technical platform and delivery model
  • When need arises you want to roll up your sleeves to get into the technical weeds, you will examine existing designs and propose modern, meaningful, and cost-effective solutions, you will whiteboard solutions and debate them with senior developers, architects and business stakeholders
  • You dream about DevOps, microservices, cloud, XaaS, and occasionally have fun writing code in your free time
  • You are able to take a vision statement or high-level problem and work with your team and various stakeholders to successfully execute against


Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?
  • 10+ years of software development experience with clear progression through ranks, and 3+ years leading and building high performance teams
  • 5+ years of software & solution architecture with proven track record of building a product and taking it to market
  • Deep passion for software engineering and innovation coupled with a positive attitude, thirst for knowledge, team oriented, pragmatic, and willing to fail
  • Significant hands-on experience with multiple programing languages and SOLID principles adept, experience with a wide spectrum of technologies with emphasis on low latency, scalable, fault tolerant platforms/applications with 24-7 availability
  • Practical expertise on agile delivery with deep understating of core agile concepts and practices, you live and breathe DevOps
  • You are eager to mentor, teach, share and learn
  • STEM education, preferably Computer Science, Programming, Engineering or a related field
