Ready for a career glow-up? As the Senior Manager, Analytics, you will lead the delivery of business intelligence and analytics that help shape strategic decisions across Sephora Canada. Leveraging data, market intelligence, and consumer insights, you'll uncover opportunities, identify trends, and provide recommendations that influence commercial, promotional, loyalty, and client strategies.

Partnering with leaders across Marketing, Merchandising, Retail, Ecommerce, and North American Analytics teams, you'll transform complex data into actionable business insights that drive growth and deepen our understanding of the Canadian market. You'll play a key role in helping the organization make smarter, faster, and more informed decisions.

What You'll Do:

Data Analytics & Business Intelligence
  • Deliver strategic insights that inform competitive, promotional, loyalty, and client strategies across the business.
  • Transform complex datasets into clear, actionable recommendations that influence business decisions and performance outcomes.
  • Develop analytical frameworks and hindsighting methodologies to assess incrementality, pull-forward behavior, client engagement, and overall program effectiveness.
  • Lead market share, competitive intelligence, pricing, and performance analyses, translating market and consumer trends into recommendations that support growth and commercial priorities.
  • Apply experimentation frameworks, statistical analysis, and data-driven methodologies to evaluate and validate business strategies and investments.

Strategic Partnership & Collaboration
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to stakeholders across multiple functions and leadership levels.
  • Partner closely with teams across Marketing, Merchandising, Retail, Ecommerce, and North America to uncover opportunities and drive strategic priorities.
  • Communicate insights through impactful storytelling, helping leaders understand complex data and make informed decisions.

Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of analytics professionals.
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and innovative team culture focused on continuous learning and growth.

Analytics Innovation & Continuous Improvement

What You'll Bring:
  • You have 5+ years of progressive experience in analytics, business intelligence, consulting, market research, or a related field, including experience leading and developing teams.
  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Economics, Marketing, Statistics, or a related field.
  • You have a strong analytical mindset and a proven ability to transform complex datasets into actionable insights and compelling business stories.
  • You have experience communicating recommendations and insights to senior leaders and executive audiences.
  • You have the ability to thrive in ambiguity, balance multiple priorities, and operate with a high degree of autonomy and initiative.
  • You have experience building scalable analytics solutions, automated reporting, and reusable data models that drive efficiency and business value.
  • You have demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives and building strong partnerships across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for problem-solving, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • You have experience working with competitive intelligence, market share reporting, pricing analysis, and industry research tools such as Nielsen, Circana, NPD/IRI, or similar platforms.
  • You have advanced proficiency in Excel, including modeling, forecasting, and advanced calculations, along with strong PowerPoint presentation skills.
  • You have experience using SQL or similar data querying languages to extract, analyze, and interpret data.
  • You have experience with business intelligence and data visualization platforms such as Tableau or similar tools.
  • You have exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence decisions through data-driven insights.
  • You have a passion for leveraging analytics to solve business challenges, uncover opportunities, and drive meaningful impact.
