Full Job Description
OneTrust is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior IT Administrator/Engineer with a focus on Azure IaaS and PaaS to join our IT department. As a Senior IT Administrator/Engineer, you will take the lead in managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure. You will manage Azure IaaS and PaaS services, implement best practices in vulnerability management, and enhance monitoring to ensure a secure and robust environment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect scalable IT solutions on Azure, aligned with industry best practices. Your expertise will be pivotal in driving continuous optimization initiatives for Azure resources, ensuring a secure, scalable, and efficient technology landscape for our organization's future growth. Your Mission • Manage and maintain our IT infrastructure, including Azure IaaS and PaaS, to ensure a secure and robust environment. • Lead efforts to strengthen the security of our Azure deployments, implementing controls and features that effectively address cybersecurity challenges and safeguard our digital assets. • Implement and enhance monitoring best practices for Azure services to proactively identify and troubleshoot IT-related issues, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect scalable IT solutions on Azure, ensuring that infrastructure design aligns with industry best practices and accommodates future growth. • Drive continuous optimization initiatives for Azure resources, identifying opportunities to enhance performance, reduce costs, and improve overall operational efficiency. • Conduct thorough capacity planning and forecasting for Microsoft 365 and Azure resources, ensuring that the infrastructure can seamlessly accommodate current and future business requirements. • Actively participate in knowledge-sharing initiatives, conducting training sessions and workshops on Azure services to enhance the skill set of team members and promote a culture of continuous learning. • Contribute to the development and enforcement of a robust Azure governance framework, aligning with organizational policies and industry standards to ensure compliance and security. • Stay informed about emerging technologies, industry trends, and advancements in Azure and IT practices. Apply this knowledge to propose and implement innovative solutions. • Evaluate emerging Azure technologies and recommend their adoption where appropriate, keeping the organization at the forefront of technological innovation and competitiveness. You Are • Proven critical thinker with advanced analytical and decision-making skills. • Customer service-minded with a strong ability to plan, schedule, and monitor work activities to meet time and quality targets. • Highly organized and meticulous with excellent process management skills; project and goal oriented. • Equipped with good verbal and written interpersonal skills; with the ability to clearly and effectively articulate ideas and the direction of projects. • Able to manage and drive multiple simultaneous tasks and projects effectively, quickly adapting to new situations and aligning to business goals. Your Experience Includes • 5+ years of experience in IT administration and engineering, with a focus on Azure IaaS and PaaS. • Should have at least one Associate, Special, or Export Microsoft Infrastructure Certification as found on Collections | Microsoft Learn • Proficiency in Azure, with a strong understanding of Azure IaaS and PaaS. • Strong understanding of networking protocols and distributed networks in the cloud. • Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security controls in Azure environments. • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Extra Awesome • Hands-on experience with cloud-native application development and deployment. • Experience with Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and other Infrastructure as Code tools. • Proficiency with AWS and GCP. Within this range, individual pay is determined by several factors, including location, job-related skills, work experience, and relevant education and/or training. This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, equity, and/or commissions, as well as benefits.
