About the RoleAriat is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to help design, build, and support enterprise infrastructure across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. This role is responsible for keeping critical platforms secure, reliable, and scalable while driving automation, modernization, and operational excellence across the IT landscape.
You'll Make a Difference By- Designing, implementing, and supporting infrastructure solutions across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
- Managing enterprise systems including servers, virtualization, storage, backup, identity, and cloud platforms.
- Administering core services such as Active Directory, Entra ID, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP
- Developing automation and infrastructure-as-code solutions.
- Monitoring infrastructure health, performance, and availability using enterprise observability and alerting tools.
- Leading system upgrades, patching, vulnerability remediation, backup validation, and disaster recovery readiness efforts.
- Supporting Windows Server, Linux, Microsoft 365, and related enterprise platforms.
- Partnering with security, network, and application teams to maintain a secure and well-integrated environment.
- Troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues, performing root cause analysis, and driving long-term improvements.
- Creating and maintaining documentation, standards, and operational procedures.
- Providing technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance across infrastructure initiatives.
- Assisting with other responsibilities based on business needs.
About You- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or a related role.
- Strong experience with enterprise infrastructure platforms, including virtualization, storage, backup, and datacenter operations.
- Expertise in Active Directory, Entra ID, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and hybrid identity management.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Experience with scripting and automation using tools such as PowerShell.
- Strong understanding of Windows Server administration, patching, system hardening, and vulnerability remediation.
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and hybrid enterprise environments.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, DNS, routing, and firewalls.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
- Experience with Linux or macOS administration.
- Experience with VMware, Cisco UCS, Hyper-V, or similar enterprise platforms.
- Familiarity with enterprise backup, disaster recovery, and monitoring platforms
- Experience with configuration tools such as Tanium
- Knowledge of Zero Trust principles, privileged access management, or ITIL-based service practices.
- Relevant Microsoft, Azure, AWS, VMware, Cisco, or similar certifications are a plus.
About AriatThe salary range for this position is $135,000 - $150,000 per year.
The salary is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data for geographic locations.
