The Job: Senior Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) AnalystReporting to the Manager, Enterprise Risk Management, the ERM Analyst supports the development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of the Company's Enterprise Risk Management framework. The successful candidate will work closely with business leaders and functional teams across the organization to identify, assess, monitor, and report on key risks while supporting a strong culture of risk awareness and accountability.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who is passionate about risk management and data analysis, and helping drive informed business decision-making within a dynamic financial services environment.
What You'll Be Doing- Support the execution and continuous improvement of the Enterprise Risk Management program.
- Assist in the identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting of enterprise-wide risks.
- Maintain and update risk registers, risk assessments, controls documentation, and risk reporting dashboards.
- Analyze risk trends, key risk indicators (KRIs), and emerging risks to provide actionable insights to management.
- Coordinate periodic risk assessments and facilitate risk workshops with stakeholders across the business.
- Support the development of risk reporting materials for senior leadership, executive committees, and the Board.
- Collaborate with first-line business partners and second-line functions to ensure consistent application of risk management practices.
- Assist in the monitoring of mitigation plans and follow-up on remediation activities.
- Support business continuity, operational resilience, and scenario analysis initiatives.
- Contribute to the enhancement of risk policies, frameworks, standards, and procedures.
- Assist with regulatory, audit, and compliance-related risk management activities as required.
- Stay informed on industry trends, risk management practices, and regulatory developments impacting the financial services sector.
What We're Looking For- Bachelor's degree in risk management, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or related discipline.
- 3-5 years of experience in Enterprise Risk Management, Operational Risk, Internal Audit, Compliance, or a related risk function.
- Understanding of enterprise risk management frameworks and risk assessment methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Experience analyzing data and preparing risk reports and presentations for stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data visualization tools is an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Professional certifications such as CRMA, CRM, FRM, PRM, CIA, or progress toward designation are considered an asset.
