Senior Design Program Manager - Data Center Infrastructure
Overview
Senior Design Program Manager to lead complex design initiatives supporting large-scale infrastructure projects. This role is responsible for managing technical design changes from initial evaluation through implementation, ensuring solutions are technically sound, aligned with business objectives, and successfully integrated across multiple engineering disciplines.
The ideal candidate brings a strong background in construction engineering or large-scale infrastructure projects, excels at cross-functional collaboration, and has experience driving technically complex programs in fast-paced environments. Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple design change initiatives across a portfolio of complex infrastructure projects.
• Evaluate the technical readiness and business impact of proposed design changes prior to implementation.
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment throughout the design and execution lifecycle.
• Partner with engineering, design, and business teams to integrate approved changes into active project portfolios.
• Track program milestones, risks, deliverables, and dependencies using project management tools.
• Communicate project status, risks, and recommendations to leadership and key stakeholders.
• Maintain project documentation, schedules, and program tracking systems.
• Facilitate regular meetings, status updates, and cross-functional planning sessions.
• Support continuous process improvements that enhance design governance, project execution, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure programs remain on schedule while balancing technical requirements and business priorities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of experience managing large-scale construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects.
• Hands-on construction engineering or field engineering experience supporting complex commercial or industrial projects.
• Experience leading cross-functional technical programs involving multiple engineering disciplines.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Experience using Smartsheet for project planning, tracking, and reporting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure projects such as data centers, industrial facilities, manufacturing plants, or similar complex environments.
• Experience managing technically complex programs across global teams.
• Demonstrated success delivering projects with significant scope, scale, and cross-functional coordination.
